claiming horse price WITH TAX are listed in the financials. according to minnesota sales and use tax
instruction booklet revised June 2014, page 8, horses are not taxable. I believe Jeff Maday confirmed that claimed horses are not taxable with me a year or two ago…please respond.
Correct. In some jurisdictions there IS tax. It’s a generic form. I think you’ll notice that the price on the financials IS just the claim price. No tax.
If they are correct in their predictions of rain and they pull the race off the turf, would Terice race on the dirt?
Good question. I haven’t looked at her lifetime PPs yet to see how she’s liked the slop in the past. Clay and I have not talked about that yet but will be later this morning. I’ll post after we talk. Ideally that will be later this morning/early afternoon.
