TENS WILD is in the sixth race on Sunday afternoon (approximate post time 2:32). He drew the rail and leading jockey Dean Butler took over the riding assignment. Leandro Goncalves moved over to Mr. Mischief who, you may recall, finished 2nd to Dr Action the first time TENS WILD ran for us and we finished 4th.
This time we shall try and turn the tables on him!
Paddock Group 3, you all are up to try and turn our fortunes around and get us back to the winners’ circle!
It’s a short 6 horse field going about 7 1/2 furlongs over the turf. $16,000 claiming.
Jeff is checking on a spot for us and I will get back to you all with that along with the race preview.
CITRON KID is going to need a bit more time. He’s been going to the track but Clay feels like he’s not quite ready for his close up. Another 10-days or so should be just what he needs and then we’ll let him rip.
I like the looks of the race. Our odds on the tote-board will be short but that is nothing new. If Clay want to hold the Kid back I am all for it.
Hoping for a nice day Sunday and a big W for the club.
Yes – that would be nice!!! 🙂
Keep Sunday concert in mind! Usually very heavy traffic and parking on those co-event days! Good luck Club.
Ted, do you think we will be seeing a acct reconciliation by mid August possibly (hopefully with our first W in the mix)?
The ONLY bill I have right now is Clay’s from last month. No vet bill at all. That said, the plan was to do one this weekend (waiting until after the 6th on Sunday!) with the caveat that we don’t have any vet charges and they will be coming.
I agree with Ron and Cheri, keep Tens two or three back and pull the trigger in the strech !
