The race we had targeted for TENS on Saturday did indeed fill on Sunday.
TENS WILD will go 7 1/2 furlongs in a $16,000 claiming race over the turf. The race is the third on the card and Dean Butler will be back aboard. It’s a nine horse field with some of the same characters from the KID’s last race and a few new faces as well. We’ll be breaking from Post 8. Approximate post time is 1:56 PM.
Paddock group 2 is up again (Group 2: Anderson – Griebenow).
We’ll be entering CITRON KID next weekend.
I’ll keep you posted on a location for Sunday.
Good luck!
How exciting!!! Can’t wait!!! How do you feel about the bounce factor?
I think he’ll be okay. He came back well and has been training fine. He didn’t run the race of his life last out, so I think he should be just fine!
Great!!! See you for sure on Sunday!!
For those interested, I see Maryjean won a Starter Allowance last night at Remington Park. She blew the field away by 5 1/2 lengths. Let’s see Tens Wild do the same on Sunday! It would be a nice day for the Club! If the race is taken off the turf will he still run?
I saw that, too. Good for her!!
I’m not so sure Tens will run if not on the turf.
We’re 90% to go for an ‘off the turf’ event. I haven’t talked to Clay about this particular race yet, but we were going to go the last couple of times in case of rain so I anticipate us going. But I will touch base with him later and let you know for sure.
That will be exciting, too!! has he raced on the dirt or in the slop?
He has run on a wet surface 5x with a win and a third.
