Clay said that TENS came back from the race just fine. We had him scoped after the race to see if maybe he bled a little, but no sign whatsoever, so he’s healthy.
He’s back at the track now and getting ready for his next race which should be in the next couple of weeks. We’ll be looking to get him some class relief ($8,000 – $10,000) and try to get a little winning streak going to end the year again.
The next race may or may not be on the turf as well. TENS has won a state bred allowance over the Hawthorne dirt and he has been working well over it so we should have some options available to us.
I saw Maryjean won a 35000 allowance race at Remmington last night
Watched a replay of Maryjean’s race and she led almost all the way giving up the lead for a bit at the top of the stretch. But with that giant heart of the old girl, she came back and won by a half a length. She has won $78,000 this year……not bad for a $5000 claimer. She has gotten better with age. Let’s hope that Tens Wild can get on a roll and win a couple this fall!
