The moment you’ve all been waiting for is here: the 2015 Club is closed, the rollover amount is calculated and we can now get 2016 fully underway. Clay is in Hot Springs, Arkansas toiling at Oaklawn and has already procured a horse for the Alumni Group (Ventures Galore for those of you following at home). Starting in March we will be looking for a horse(s) for the 2016 Club to call our own!
We finished up 2015 with 15 starts with 3 wins, 1 second and 2 thirds. TENS WILD was obviously the star of the stable, picking up all three wins. Total purse earnings were $40,200.
While we didn’t set any records this year, we still managed to finish up the year with a balance of $35,594.77 or $211.65 per person (final financials attached). Still not the breakeven year we are shooting for, but we did get to 85% of the way there.
For those of you returning for 2016, please return the attached form and the balance of $38.35 and the $211.65 will automatically be credited to your 2016 fee.
If you are not returning, please notify either Jeff (jmaday@canterburypark.com) or I (ted@grevelisracing.com) as soon as possible so we can have your check cut and sent to you. The deadline is February 28. If we do not hear from you by February 28 you will automatically be issued a check and will not be a part of the 2016 Club, so if you want to come back – and we hope you do! – please make sure to return the rollover form at the bottom of this page with your check so you’re not left out!
Thanks for being a part of the Club this year and we hope to see you again this summer!

Hello, I don’t see any attachments.
They needed replacing but that’s been done and they are there now. Thanks.
I wish to be part of the club in 2016 and will get the form and the check to you by the deadline.James D. Nelson

It’ll be great to have you!
Looking forward to being a member again this year. We hope for another fun and successful year! Hope to see a classy runner out of Oaklawn for the Club.
Welcome back!
Ted, congrats to you and the Club. For less than the price of one good dinner downtown they had 3 wins, a fun summer of racing as owners and a few perks at a great racetrack, some great experiences, thrills and learned about racing from an angle they would never had otherwise. What could be better?
Thanks, Dave. It’s an awful lot of fun! And the folks that are returning for another year can roll over their earnings from the year plus the price of dinner at Applebee’s!
I would like to return to the club next year. I need to know the address to send the form and check.

Jeff We have sent in our $38.35 with form or is everybody getting this reminder. Thanks Doug & Judie Plehal
It’s going out to everyone from the blog page. Thanks!
Mailed in my form this week. Looking forward to being a member of the club. Ted, are there any advantages or disadvantages to claiming the horse(s) at Oaklawn instead of Hawthorne ?
I don’t know if there are any advantages, per se, though the racing is at a considerably higher level at Oaklawn. in theory we should be able to get a higher caliber horse for the money there, but that’s only theory! We’ll try to put that into practice this spring!

Happy to be back. Clay is the trainer and sounds like the one that pics the horse for all of us. With Ted being the spoke person and know how on racing horses together make a super team.
