Hawthorne opened up for training this morning under cloudy skies and occasional rain so Boomer and his stablemates were able to stretch their legs for the first time in about a week.
I, myself, am wrapping up week at the Global Gaming Expo which is thoughtfully timed around the closing of Canterbury but prior to the opening of Hawthorne! But for me it’s also time to go back at the track as we get ready for the sprint to the finish and try to close up a challenging year on a positive – or several positive – notes.
Entries start being taken on Tuesday for Friday and Clay will determine over the next few days how ready Boomer is to get back into competition. Look for him to come back in either a grass or dirt race at about the $8000 claiming tag mark as soon as we can get him ready. We will, of course, announce that here and on Twitter as soon as we know!
Either a dirt or grass race. I didn’t realize that we had another choice at Hawthrone. What is the third choice? LOL just me being me
