Ender came out of his race fine, though a little tired from the huge come from behind effort. He did come back into that race on 13 days so Karl will most likely wait a bit longer between races this time to give him a bit more rest time. We’ll see then what kind of spot he’ll come back in.
Laura Ray has been working well and our attention now turns to her. She didn’t run badly last time out but her steadily closing style could mean she needs a bit more distance than 7 furlongs. The class level (between $7500 – $10,000 claiming) appears to be right in her wheelhouse so Nevada is looking to get her in for a mile, mile 70 or a mile and a sixteenth which could be as early as next weekend, though we don’t enter until later in the week. We will make any announcements on the Twitter feed (@CBY_Racing_Club) or Facebook page (Canterbury Racing Club) when anything happens and then follow up later in the day with a more detailed blog post.
Don’t forget to RSVP for the backside tours! You can see all the details here.
