Win! And a Claim.

Ender went from last to first under a very well timed ride by Ramon Vazquez in the 8th at Remington yesterday.  All credit to Karl Broberg and team knowing what Ender had in the tank after last week’s race and knowing he would come back and run big tonight.

Last early, Ramon got him underway heading into the far turn and he ate up a ton of ground down the middle of the race track.  Here is the chart of the race: RP101119USA8

Unfortunately Ender was claimed out of his race by Canterbury trainer Larry Donlin. We pocketed $7500 for the claim (same as we paid for him) and another $7284 for the win.  We will get things closed out and the next financial statement should be the close out of the 2019 season.

Thanks for all the members and our trainers – and their entire staffs – for a wonderful 2019 season.

There will be more details on renewal, etc. as we get closer to the end of the year.  If you weren’t a member this season and want to get involved in the action, JOIN US for 2020!  We’ll have an enrollment period that should last from before Christmas through the end of February!

    • I’m going to reach out to the track photographer this weekend and see what can be arranged by the way of a group buy to try and bring the costs down for everyone or at least arrange a way of getting photos to those that want them.

  1. Absolutely fabulous! What a race!! Thanks for the video link Mike and the request for photos. I’m interested too and would be ok with paying for a few.

Ted-thanks for your excellent management again this year! It was a fun roller coaster ride with more ups than downs!! I hope Larry Donlin brings Ender to Canterbury in the spring. It would be fun to watch him with our new horse(s).

  2. Congratulations!
    What a great time!

I have a change of address if you send a photo.

    Thank you!

    • If I can work a deal with the track photographer they will be sent in bulk to Canterbury for pick up. The cost to mail to every member would be excessive.
