Heather and I were over at the track last Saturday morning checking up on the girls (we have a filly of our own back there right now as well) and she made sure to get some photos of MARYJEAN’s exercise in the fog that morning. Enjoy!

Can I ask about the triangle piece that looks like a loose breast plate under her chin? What purpose does that serve?
Good question!! It’s called a Martingale. It’s purpose is to keep the horse from throwing it’s head too high while it’s running.
